“Before one of the shows for “Curious Savage,” Mr. Hayward walked out to make an announcement, and at first I just kind of thought it would be any regular announcement, just like ‘oh, keep your volume down’ and whatnot. But, then he said that our production of “Addam’s Family” got a bunch of different nominations. Which, that alone I was already really excited about, but then one was myself for Best Actor, nonprofessional, Play or Musical. I couldn’t describe how I felt in that moment. I was speechless. I sat there in awe, jaw dropped and everything. All I could do was just…look around.”
