Athlete of the Week – Zoe Lenney
Zoe Lenney finished 6th in the state in triple jump and 8th in high jump. She recorded a height of 5 feet 1 inch in the high jump and a distance of 33 feet 1 inch in the triple jump. She has been running track since 7th grade, but this is the first year she ran indoor track.
Before every event she puts her left shoe on, then her right. She loves everything about track, “I love the competition and meeting new people from other schools,” Lenney said. “State was pretty stressful because there were a lot of people I had never competed against before, which was cool but stressful.” Her favorite article on the Knight Times is ESPN night: tradition carries on
