Athlete of the week – Sofia Folchi
Sofia Folchi is ready to explode off the line for a penalty shot.
Senior Sofia Folchi, a four-year varsity starter, helped the lacrosse team succeed by having two draw controls, one ground ball, and five goals on Friday, March 18 against Beavercreek. In order to get ready, Folchi listens to certain music which helps her get in the right mindset before each game. She started playing lacrosse in fifth grade.
“My favorite part about lacrosse is getting to connect with new people every year and getting closer to my old teammates,” Folchi said. “I will miss the positive environment and getting to connect with new people every year and getting closer to old teammates.” Her favorite article on the Knight Times is ECC runner-ups search for vengeance.
