Tape
Tape is another option to bind. I’ve only tried tape a couple of times mainly because it’s a one-time use and ends up costing more than a binder. However, it’s better for your health because you aren’t putting pressure on your ribs. A popular brand is transtape. They have a starter kit that comes with tape, oil, nipple covers, and a recovery balm. I have never tried this brand because a common problem is removing/ applying the tape wrong and ripping your skin. Rubbing alcohol or other adhesive solvents that are skin-safe may help with this process. However, I think some non-name brands work better, such as KT tape that you can find at any drug store or therapist’s choice tape off Amazon. Putting tape on is time-consuming compared to binders, I recommend looking up videos for your body type to get the best results. Please don’t use duct tape, painter’s tape, or any tape not meant for the body or skin to bind. This will cause even more problems!
