Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 leaves children laughing, while parents stare in confusion.

The sequel returns all the main characters, Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader), an inventor who in the last movie invited the machine that made all the food fall from the sky, Sam Sparks (Anna Faris), who was the weather girl in the last movie, and also Flint’s love interest, and many many more characters from the last movie. In this movie, they return to Shallows Fall, where the food fell from the sky. Now the food has came to life.due to the machine still working and malfunctioning. How will they stop it?

This movie is mediocre. It doesn’t have the spice of the first one, where you can laugh about the jokes even if you are an adult. In this movie they literally take about five minutes to talk about what the food animals are called. The plot substance is not the  best. The only thing that this movie has going for it is that it is a very pretty animation. I can really appreciate the computer work on it, as  the colors are very vibrate. Over all, if you have a kid or a little sibling that wants to see it, go see it, but it may not be the best movie out there.

Prisoners hits the screen and it should be a crime not to see it.

This movie revolves around a father, Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman), who has just lost his daughter due to a kidnapping. He has no clue where they are, but do to the fact of a sketchy van that is out in front of the neighborhood that his little girl, Anna (Erin Gerasimovich), had tried to play on earlier. Keller needs to find his daughter, and he will do anything to discover who it is, as in his opinion the cop, especially the main detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal). He goes after the guy in the van, who ends up being a child that has mental issues, Alex Taylor (Paul Dano). This discovery causes great drama in the family, will this guy even be able to tell them the information they need?

This movie is fantastic, and the best movie of this year. The acting was superb and didn’t miss a beat. Paul Dano did a great job playing a creepy guy, who has mental issues. He plays  this is character very well, and makes you cringe in fear. The plot is very startling and makes you think about your own kids, or any little siblings that you may have, and what you would do in that situation. It is really a must see that has amazing suspense., and one of the creepier movies out there, as it is really could happen to you.
