‘Gravity’ a deep-space thriller
Gravity will have you falling down with applause.
This movie is about a group of astronauts, including a woman called Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock), who goes up into space and is helping the space station get repaired with her own new equipment which will help the space center be able to obtain new photos and be able to function more fully. Suddenly, they find that the Russian’s had blown up one of their space stations, and the remains of the station are coming straight at them, they must make an escape. The remains come faster than they expected, and cause chaos to ensue. What will happen next?
Gravity is an amazing movie. The cinematography and special effects make it that much better. The trailer actually is a great thing to watch before you go into the theater as it didn’t tell you everything that was going on, and makes it more spenceiful. You really have no clue what is going on. The acting was really good as even the side character, George Clooney. It really is heart breaking some of the writing that was involved, and really it kept you wondering what was going to happen next the whole time. It is a movie you have to see, and I believe it may be a contender for the Golden Globes.

Carrie brings gore, but no real plot
The movie is about a homeschooler religious girl named Carrie (Chloë Grace Moretz) who has been protected her whole life by her mom (Julianne Moore), and now is having to go to high school. She is not excepted by the other high schoolers as she is very naive, and after she has an accident in the girls locker room the bullying gets worse, and she starts to discover that she may have powers that she never knew she had. What will happen to this poor soul?
This movie is a bad remake of movie. They try to modernize the movie, but by doing that they create plot holes, that you will be confused about as technology could have helped the situation. The acting is decent, Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore do a good job at their chemistry, but the other high school students fall flat as their acting skills just becomes cheesy. The movie isn’t really scary, it is just gory and an interesting character story more than anything. It’s not the movie to see if you want see a scare.
