maniaA Kings High School tradition will rock the school auditorium on Friday, now in its fifth year as a showcase for musically-talented students to perform before a large audience – often for the first time in their lives.

Music Mania 2013, hosted by the Kings High School Choral Department, is this Friday, Nov. 1. The music begins at 6, and ends when the music ends, say organizers.
The theme this year is “I Wanna Rock n’ Roll All Knight” focusing on a classic ‘80’s rock atmosphere. The audience is encouraged to dress accordingly, and be ready to rock.

Bands with members who attend Kings High School include A Liar’s Eyes, Blue Society and Self-ish. Acoustic solo acts include Leila Ashworth, Brennan Gray, and Cassidy Foley performing as “Catastrophe.”

Tickets are still available for $6 at all lunches, and band members are selling tickets to the public for pre-sale prices as well. At the door tickets will be sold for $8.

All revenue will support the Kings Choral Department.
