New Track Honors Sammy Reagan

November 7 would have been Sammy Reagan’s 13th birthday. And in her memory, family and friends from Kings joined the student body of South Lebanon Elementary school to dedicate a newly-paved running track in her name. In addition, a bench and memorial stone at the school now bear Sammy’s name. The ribbons and balloons decorating the event were orange, Sammy’s favorite color. After sharing stories about Sammy, who died last year, all the participants walked one lap around what will now be called “The Sammy Track.” At the finish line, Sammy’s brothers, Jack and Brian, were the first to break through the ribbon – an orange ribbon.
