Athlete of the week – Bailey Bush
Bailey Bush takes it all in one last time at the castle
Senior Bailey Bush led the team in points Monday, Jan. 31 against Carroll with 22 points, her season-high. She was eight for 11 from the field, six for nine from three, along with five rebounds and two assists. This win moved them into 4th in the ECC standings, jumping Loveland. Bush’s favorite parts about the sport are her teammates and the competitiveness.
Bush’s pregame ritual is a pump cheer she does with her teammates, called “Juice.” Bush started playing basketball at the age of 5. “I am definitely going to miss my teammates the most and getting close with the underclassman,” Bush said. Bush’s favorite article on the Knight Times is “Lady Knights strive for greatness.”
