As the madness began, the bars and restaurants buzzed with excitement as fans gathered to watch the games together  bonding over their shared love for the sport. Even those who didn’t follow basketball found themselves caught up in the madness, competing for the prizes they might win from their bracket.

What made March Madness truly special were the underdog teams that defied the odds and captured the hearts of fans across the country. One of the best underdog stories was ST Peters in 2022 that beat number 2 Kentucky and number 3 Purdue. From the small mid majors to the powerhouses of college basketball, all schools have their unique stories to march madness.

The bracket challenges, a March Madness tradition, bringing people together worldwide. It’s a fun way for friends, family and coworkers to compete. Watching picks play out adds excitement keeping fans on the edge of their seats throughout the tournament.

The odds of getting a perfect bracket are almost impossible. I don’t mean that figuratively. I mean it’s ALMOST literally impossible. The odds of getting your bracket completely perfect are astronomical. Those who have done the math have figured out that to get every single game from the first round to the final, you’d need to hit on one in 9 QUINTILLION (that’s 18 zeroes, friends) odds.

In March Madness we see inspiring stories of success and determination. Every game will have memorable moments, like buzzer-beaters and epic comebacks, that will be remembered in basketball history. One example is Villanova’s Kris Jenkins sinking a game-winning three-point buzzer beater to beat North Carolina in the 2016 National Championship game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7FFJUz0tdo

As the final game ended, a new team celebrated their victory by cutting down the hoop, a tradition to cherish this moment for years to come in the history of March Madness. As fans cheered and players celebrated with each other, confetti filled the sky making this another unforgettable tournament.
