Justin Baker – Athlete of the week
2nd Baseman Justin Baker helped the Knights beat Anderson 11-8. With three at bats, he had three hits all of which were doubles, four RBIs, and three runs. Baker has been playing since he was three years old. Before every game, he touches the rock in front of the field that is dedicated to Joe Moore, a former coach who passed away.
Baker’s favorite part about baseball are his teammates and the friendships. “I love competing alongside my teammates every day,” said Baker. The Knights are currently first in the ECC, with a record of 8-2 and 12-6 overall. Baker’s favorite article on the Knight Times is Baseball team leads off the 2022 season.
