Artist of the Week: Sage Burress
Strike a pose! Senior Sage Burress has been working hard on her modeling career for over four years now, something she takes great pride in. With 47,000 followers on TikTok and over 3 million likes, Burress has certainly begun to make a name for herself. In fact, Burress had the opportunity to walk in Fashion Week Columbus for Aspparel Activewear.
Even before modeling, Burress had a love for the camera. When Burress was just seven years old she began to explore photography on her first iPad. Over the years, Burress’ love for photography has grown alongside her modeling aspirations, creating a very complementary skill set.
But, Burress’ artistry isn’t limited to modeling and photography. As well, Burress loves to paint and does Henna tattoos at Kings Island.
On May 6th Burress is booked to walk in a fashion show with Saks Fifth Avenue, the biggest company she’s worked with yet.
“My advice to creative people out there is to never give up on what they love because if you keep trying you will get closer to where you want to be. You just can’t stop trying,” Burress said.
