Along with its 230 new students this year districtwide, Kings is also welcoming new staff members to the community.

Matt Luecke will be the new Kings Manager of School Business Affairs, and Mary Beth Fosse will be the Special Education Supervisor.

Luecke and his wife Mollie have two daughters, Madelyn and Megan, and live in the Loveland area. Their two children attend pre-school near their home, Mollie was a graduate from King’s High School and Matt graduated from Milford High School. The two met while working together at Ryan Homes, where Matt had worked previously for 14 years. While working at Ryan Homes Luecke held positions in areas that would bring him a set of skills valuable to his new role at Kings.

Luecke worked production, sales, and costing, managing projects in up to eight different communities and three counties. Other areas he worked in were negotiation, cost saving strategies, and project tracking, along with finding and understanding the needs and problem solving.new-admins-ernst

At Kings his focus is on where the district can save money — and time — while making the community safe and improving the learning environment for the students and teachers.

“My vision for Kings is to continue to improve upon the great tradition of excellence that has been here for a long time,” Luecke stated.

One new safety initiative is Lobby Guard, a safety device in the office of all Kings schools buildings that photographs visitors and runs instant background checks. In the future Luecke said he wants to continue enhancing the safety and security in the buildings, including more door controls and additional cameras in the high school.

Mary Beth Fosse is the district’s New Special Education Supervisor. She has three children, Grace, Alex, and Emma. They attend school in the Lakota district and are very involved in their sports. Fossen likes to spend her weekends with her children’s sporting events. Fosse has lived in the Lakota community for the past seven years.

Fossen was a principal and curriculum specialist for Milford Exempted Village schools. Before her job at Milford, Fosse taught in the Reading School District for 14 years.

Her new role here in the King’s community is to support the special education teachers and the students.
