Recovering

“Recovery is still a long process. I started seeing a therapist and nutritionist and still, sometimes my negative thoughts would take over during the recovery.  I wouldn’t listen to the nurses at the hospital when my heart rate was at 45 while standing up. I was at the hospital for two weeks and it was really hard. They told me when I was admitted that I would have died if I didn’t come in when I did. Now I look so much healthier. It’s not about the number on the scale but how I feel. I love food. My mind still tells me not to eat, but I ignore that voice.”
