Sophomore Abby Trapp, a two-year varsity starter, helped the Knights beat Loveland 16-9. With five at-bats she had four hits, five RBIs, one home run and one stolen base. Before each game and in between each inning she does a handshake with her teammate Ainsley Herron. She started playing softball when she was 6 years old. 

Trapp’s favorite part about softball is the team bonding and game days. “I love game days because we get to show off what we have practiced and all the hard work we have put in,” Trapp said. Trapp’s favorite team bonding activity is going to a seniors house and learning about each other. Her favorite story on the Knight Times is Mia overcomes her softball fears.
