Serena, Freshman
“If I could be anybody in the world I would be Rihanna because I love fashion and her fashion line. I found interest in fashion when I was little. I used to pick out my own outfits and try new things. I’ve always wanted to make my own clothes. I feel like all the clothes people sell these days are super repetitive. I just wanna make something new. Seeing people when I was growing up that dressed differently from the majority of society, inspired me to be myself and dress how I want. I would make shirts and a lot of pants. I sometimes take clothes that I’ve had for a while and mess with them, cut stuff off and add stuff to them. Clothes with character and originality could be repurposed as different types of clothing. I think I’ll do fashion as more of a hobby to pass the time.”

I agree! Styles are predictable. Here’s a thought: why not create a program giving examples of your repurchased garments? And would you please suggest one for little old ladies??
