Humans of Kings

“Balancing soccer and school isn’t as bad as you would think.I have a lot of time after school to study and get my school work done. The most difficult times are when I have to miss school for trips. I have to get all my work before I leave so that I don’t get behind. It’s also challenging when I’m playing another sport on top of it just because I no longer have a lot of time after school to get my work done.

I have created so many amazing relationships through soccer that I will have forever and that are much more than just soccer. They have made me a better person. I have also gotten to go to many camps throughout the years where I’ve met girls from all over and we’re still friends and stay connected so I think that’s pretty cool.

I get to travel to a bunch of cool places all across the country. I’ve gone to Las Vegas a couple times, I go to Florida a lot, Texas a few times, and I’ll be traveling to San Diego this summer. Playing soccer has taught me how to be more independent and work hard for what you want to achieve in life. It has also taught me to always have a positive outlook on things and try to learn and grow from whatever happens, whether it’s good or bad.”
