Kings High School students filled the halls Thursday, February 20th for the swim team’s state-bound members. The walk of champions celebrated 10 members of the Kings Knights aquatics team, who have worked hard all year to represent their school in the OHSAA state meet.

“You always want to do your best while representing  your school. This is my first time going to state which is really cool especially during my senior year,”  senior Jordan Harkins told the Knight Times.

Senior Noah Young has had a unique experience in his Knights swimming career. He and his brother Jake Young have had special moments together on the swim team.

The women’s and men’s state swimming teams line up for their Walk of Champions.

“We have broken records that have been set by one another,” Noah said. He’s proud of how hard he’s worked to get to this point in his swimming career.

The Knights hope to make a good run when they go to state. No matter where the Knights finish, they will cherish this opportunity as a great memory in their high school swimming careers.
