“Dumb and Dumber To” earns its title well, and not in a good way.

Dumb and Dumber To revolves around the famous characters Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) many years in the future. Harry finds out that he has a daughter, Freida Fletcher (Kathleen Turner) and they go on an adventure to find her as he needs a kidney as he is suffering from kidney failure. Shenanigans ensue. Will this movie become a classic as Dumb and Dumber did in the past?

The only thing this movie has going for it is the chemistry between Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels who still work very well with each other. The physical comedy is still pretty good, but what falls apart is the actual plot of the movie. The writers should have known we were just there for the gags, and not the overall plot of the movie. That is the one plot point that the watchers are there for, the jokes. When you throw in weak plot points, it really does cloud the comedy. Also, when the daughter is introduced into the story, it falls down quickly. The daughter really is not that funny, which is unfortunate. Overall, it is only okay. It is nice to see the gang back together, but not a classic.

Big Hero 6 will be a hero for kids everywhere.

Big Hero 6 is an animated movie by the famous Disney production team and it doesn’t let down in any nature. It revolves around Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter) who is a 14 year old who gains admission to a robotic university that his brother, Tadashi (Daniel Henney), goes to. He starts discovering what all the possibilities of microtechnology are, and right when he realizes that, things started going awry. Is there a villain a foot? What will happen to the characters as the movie progresses?

This movie is actually heartbreaking and spectacular at the same time, as Disney is very keen on creating. The animation in this movie is drop dead gorgeous and is eye candy for kids and adults a like. The plot brings in enough drama and suspense that adults can handle watching it, and even enjoy it. There is not many flaws that stand out to me, It is a good step forward towards a movie for everyone, even little boys that don’t want to watch princess movies anymore.
