The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting cooler and spirits are getting spookier. Autumn is here and with halloween approaching there are many different family activities around the area to look into.

Some of these activities include pumpkin patches such as Irons fruit farm, Blooms And Berries, Niederman family farm and Shaw farms … 

Irons Fruit Farm (pictured above) is located in Lebanon Ohio. It has been a tradition since 1936. There they have a 12- acre large field of corn, gingerbread house building for kids, animals, a pumpkin patch, hay-rides, and more. You can also enjoy fresh fruit, cider and baked goods. There are also many local Halloween related festivities such as:

Land Of Illusion: located in Middletown, Ohio. Four haunted houses, one haunted trail,live concerts and thrilling rides. Hours: Friday and Saturday 8:00pm- 2:00 am https://landofillusion.com/

The USS Nightmare: Located at Newport On the Levee, Kentucky. One of the areas longest haunted tours. 30+ minutes and two decks. Hours vary http://ussnightmare.com/

The Dent School House: Located off harrison avenue, Cincinnati. Rated one of the worlds scariest haunted houses by Hauntworld.com Hours: 7:30pm-12am on Friday’s and Saturdays and 7:30pm-10:00pm on Sundays and Thursdays. http://frightsite.com/hours/

Kings Islands “Haunt”: Kings Island’s annual “Haunt” is open every weekend from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. There are 11 haunted mazes such as Blackout, Board to Death, and Carnevil. You can also enjoy scare zones, thrill rides and on stage entertainment. Kings Island offers a family friendly daytime event, The Great Pumpkin Fest goes from noon-6 p.m. They offer a pumpkin patch, games, pony rides and more. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/haunt
